Today marks one year since the world lost one of the most inspirational, imaginative and tenacious women – Dame Zaha Hadid.
It’s hard to believe a year has passed – her mark on the world of architecture, and in fact, the world in general, is so fresh in my mind.
“A planet in her own orbit” – as described by her university lecturer – Hadid’s unique vision and her “no limits” approach to her work has redefined our views of space and reshaped our values on architecture and design.
But more than her works alone – Hadid’s views on life, values, ambition, society and humanity have made her an inspiration and role model for many.
