Predella House, the pioneering online art gallery, has a new artist on their books.
In promotion of this new creative addition, I was invited along by the art emporium to go behind-the-scenes with an interior styling photoshoot.
Toby Deveson is a British photographer, best known for his mesmerising black and white landscape imagery.
He is a globetrotter with an observational eye and a captivating imagination. His images capture far-flung landscapes from Kenya to Slovenia, with a strong focus on form and light.
All executed in black and white, there is a strange juxtaposition in his work; feelings that are both serene and haunting at the same time.
Our small but inspired team featured Katrina Aleksa of Predella House, Interiors addict and blogger Emilie, of Stella + The Stars, luxury Interior Designer Marta Leitane, Photographer Arnis Usackis and myself.
There is a starkness to Toby’s pieces that somehow appears all the more striking when his art is paired with muted shades and pops of colour.
At Predella House HQ, in one of the stunning new apartments, we shot Toby’s beautiful pieces against a mix of luxe, soft textures and warm hues, accented with metallic accessories.
His landscapes would look equally as mesmerising against a strong, monochrome palette, where the softer elements of his photography, such as the water reflections, would truly come to life.
Toby’s photography is available to purchase here through Predella House.
